about Mama

To know Martha is to know an amazing woman. She was funny, strong, quiet, intelligent, witty, discerning, non-judgmental, and encouraging. An active and strong woman who even at 90, you could find her working and doing something (we thought) she didn't have any business doing (lol).

She possessed a special ability to make people feel loved and accepted. She listened, observed, understood, and often had wisdom that needed no lengthy explanation. Her quiet strength spoke volumes.
